DSCB graduate student Akela Kuwahara was chosen to give a talk on her work at the Bay Area Stem Cell Conference. She presented her work on genome-wide understanding of mechanisms of the patterning and morphogenesis in the mamalian foregut in her talk, entitled "Transcriptional Regulation of Tracheoesophageal Specification and Separation of the developing trachea."
